Dig a pit on the north face of chickadee ridge just where the slope begins to steepen towards to top. Snow depth 135 cm. ECTx or ECT33. The deep faceted layer was about 60 cm down and hard to crack, when it did it sheared with little shovel pressure and clean in my lap. It is hard to get it to go but if it does it will go big!
