Bruins ridge - 8812 bowl

Went up Bruin's ridge to 8812 bowl drop-in (2500m). Observed crust to 1800m as reports have indicated, down approx. 20-30cm under dry loose. 1800m - 2100 m was the best snow quality. Above ~2100m was quite wind affected in the bowl. Above 2100m on Bruin's was completely wind scoured, though we managed. You'll want sharp edges. Great skiing for Nov 21. Lots of groups out having a time. Skin in and ski out were much better than anticipated. Almost nothing sticking out on the skin track. No alder bashing required.
