Quick Observation

Still a lot of moisture in the snowpack. We identified a reactive layer about 15cm down that was failing on fist-density wet grains about 3mm in size. Tests were variable with one giving CT13 and another failing during isolation. Extended column test failed and propagated in the medium range. Needless to say, we cut our day short due to stability concerns. Hoping for some cold weather to tighten up the snowpack. The transition into a spring snowpack is well underway.

Snowpack

Failure layer was fist-density, wet rounds. Snowpack is damp throughout with well developed rounds in the upper portion. Tighter, smaller grains below. No other layers of concern were noticed, other than the one mentioned.
