Quick Observation

5-10cm of new snow overnight Monday made for soft riding on wind affected surfaces in the lower alpine. Surface snow was moist below 1100m but seemed to be bonding well to the suncrust below. The snow became dry again above 1100m. We went looking for isolated wind slab but found none in the immediately lee of the feature we were on. Skiing was fairly good in 5-10cm of powder on firm surfaces. Snow became wet and heavy below 1100m. Visibility was ok but a little flat due to high overcast. We skied north aspects at lower alpine elevations
