Lots of evidence of wet loose activity around the waterfall. Cornices off little Hector still intact and look primed to go. More holes on the glacier than this time last year - see pictures. Crust began right from the car and lasted till right above treeline. Above that was dust on crust. Glacier varied from wind crust, to an inch of snow, to bulletproof. Good views.

Snow conditions were: Crusty, Wet, Wind affected. Weather conditions were: Cloudy, Sunny, Warm, Windy. We rode: Alpine slopes. Riding quality was ok.

Avalache Conditions: Rapid temperature rise to near zero degrees or wet surface snow.
