Burton Hut

Garibaldi Lake was frozen, with about 10cm of fresh snow on top. Snow was heavy but fun. No recent signs of avalanche debris were seen. Vis was low but vibes were high.

Some slopes were slightly wind affected, fresh snow on most aspects, overcast for most of the day with a few brief breaks.

CTM15 down 15 RP. ECTN15 propagated about 10cm. Fresh snow from the past few days slid on the crust layer 15cm down in both the compression and extended tests. No breaks on lower layers, although 3-4 other crust layers were noticed throughout the snowpack. Nothing triggered when jumping on test slopes.
