The previous worry layer (at 50cm below surface at that location) is of no concern and the snowpack is well bonded.
However, a new crust has formed just 2 cm below the surface of recent dusting of new snow. This surface layer has started to facet in the past clear nights. There is some low density (2cm) snow just below that crust that sheared off very easy. With the forecast of up to possibly 50 cm of new snow on top of this crust arriving with high winds I would suggest high caution for the remainder of the week. Saturday is forecast to be sunny, so be careful, weekend warriors! I suspect wind slabs and storm slabs to be very reactive.
