North Arm Hills

Moderate NW winds today had A bit of snow on the move with active loading in lee features. We saw a bit of everything today. Areas prone to high winds in Alpine features were pretty stripped and icy. Lots of different degrees of crust for travel on snowmobile. Powder and low density snow in the forest, gullies and bowls. We did find pockets of reactive Wind Slab, ranging from 5-15 CM thick, 500 m, East facing slope. Test showed that it was quite sensitive, with the ability to propagate. No New avalanches observed. Lots of recent snowmobile tracks in “TheBowl”, with a dozen plus riders on their way in while we are on our way out. Cold.
