Lots of wind blowing on Glacier Crest, nothing looked appealing on either side and we saw some twisty wind gusts crawling back up the dogleg couloir 🥶. It looks like another party turned around today or yesterday. From there we could see that the wind affected large areas on the Illicillewaet, towards lookout col and the Asulkan. We went back down and up towards the Dome which saw little wind today. The snow was great with 30cm of F snow sitting on another 15cm of 4F. The pillows near mushroom people were not bad either, but they got progressively slabbier on the way down, with a soft wind crust near the bottom. Great skiing overall. No major or concerning signs of avalanches where we were other that a few small naturals in the distance.
Small natural windslab (maybe size 1 or 1.5) that didn't go very far from the top of glacier crest. Observed debris from the dome later in the day. One size 1.5 natural that ran close to the skin track going to Sapphire col. It started from the steep rocky wall above where the skin track crosses the big convexity before reaching the top.
