Listen to Rattlesnake Milk

Today we skied in the Shames mountain backcountry. 15 cm of new snow overnight made for deep trail breaking and excellent ski quality. Moderate southerley ridge top winds were forming wind slab at ridge crest but ski quality quickly improved as you descended. We stayed away from north and east facing slopes to avoid recent wind loading from the south west wind. We observed no new avalanches today.
