Saphier Col

Toured up to Sapphire Col via the Asulkan Valley. Not a breath of wind and full sun made for a gorgeous day out in the backcountry. Snow was preserved on polar aspects which made for good skiing on the Asulkan Glacier. Lots of obvious sags while descending the glacier however consistently probing over 3 meters and good visibility made for a manageable glacial descent. We observed no new avalanche activity.
