Mt. McCrae

A nice day out in clear and cool weather conditions. Parked truck at summer parking lot at the bottom of McCrae FSR, sledded from there. Some powder snow on the road up - easy sledding. Skiing in the alpine, snow was crusty and wind affected high up, lower down at treeline and below much better but with not much new snow. Lots of whumpfing above the treeline where the snow had been affected by winds prior to Monday. Also, got a small west-facing test slope to slide on a layer at about 20-30 cm down. Enough signs to keep it all really mellow.
