Cold Feet area

Spent the last week exploring the Cold Feet zone. Saw 2, week old size 1 crowns with covered debris. Very little wind effect overall, slightly wind pressed spots at higher elevations. 20cm ski penetration on consistent good skiing powder. Minimum new snow all week and stable temps. Well consolidated mid snow pack. Found two layer boundaries down 35 and 45cm. CTH24, CTH22.

Surprisingly little wind effect in the area. No results in previous treed run ski cuts. Down climbed to edge of open run to see what the storm layers felt like. Remote trigger from thin spot before skis were on. 20-40 cm on top of crust. No involvement.
