Quick Observation
Reasonable skiing in Connaught Creek today, with the north side (south facing) feeling a little warmer, especially out of the wind. Generally anything wind exposed was crusty and heavy, but did not find any reactive windslab. Snow in many open alpine areas was starting to firm up and develop a crust on both sides of the valley. However, it could still be considered powder-y and 8812 bowl was skiing quite nicely still. Any wind exposed alpine areas had been hit hard, and ski crampons were useful in places.
