South Rockies

There was 10 cm of new snow at 2200m on solar aspects it was sitting on top of a supportive crust that was supportive to skiing. On north aspects, there is a little soft snow remaining but becoming harder to find. Cornices remain large and the backsides are beginning to deteriorate making them weaker. There was no wind today and the sun was out for a good part of the day with a few cloudy periods. There was a few size 1 dry loose out of extreme terrain and no real wind-affected snow.

Snow conditions were: Crusty, Heavy. Weather conditions were: Sunny, Warm. We rode: Mellow slopes. We avoided: Sunny slopes. Riding quality was ok.
