Variable snow. From wind slab to pow. Sheltered areas had decent snow, open trees had either wind slab or wind effected snow. Small pocket of wind slab popped near lost boys pass on the way to the Mammoth Head skin track. Stayed away from heavily wind effected areas.

Snow conditions were: Crusty, Powder, Wind affected. Weather conditions were: Cold, Sunny. We rode: Dense trees, Steep slopes. We avoided: Convex slopes, Open trees. Riding quality was ok.

Avalache Conditions: Whumpfing or drum-like sounds or shooting cracks.

Small pocket not of any harm as it was a small slope but could be possible to trigger larger slabs in wind loaded areas. 15cm deep 5 m wide, slab was 1F- that slid on another wind slab which was 5 cm deep. Relatively easy to trigger if you try.
