Snow conditions were: Deep powder. Weather conditions were: Cold, Stormy. We rode: Dense trees, Steep slopes. We avoided: Alpine slopes, Open trees. Riding quality was amazing.

Avalache Conditions: 30cm + of new snow, or significant drifitng, or rain in the last 48 hours.

The one described was surprisingly large for very loose snow in dense trees. There were many other normal size 1 releases
