Barber Cabin Summer Trail

Fatbiked to Barber Cabin using the summer trail due to the lake ice being dicey. Snow cover everywhere was only a few inches thick below 1200ft. It was overcast and the cloud cover was too thick to see above that. At about 10pm we did hear some cracking and popping from way high on the mountain, the sort of noise you hear from a glacier as it readjusts. Saw no signs of recent avalanches.
