Below 10,000', avalanche hazards are minimal because of a very shallow snowpack anchored in the bush.  On northeast aspects above 10k, the snowpack structure was poor and produced moderate propagating results under an 18" soft slab. The slab is an ideal thickness and hardness for getting feedback in the terrain, and I couldn't get any despite my best efforts.  It feels like the issue is becoming increasingly isolated and stubborn in the shallow, BTL areas.
