Approx 2 inches of new snow on top of a small wind slab. There were no signs of instability. Weather was 18 degrees Fahrenheit and snowing. I was going down hill and made a turn to cut left and noticed cracks then the top slab broke off and started sliding. Stopped after around 5 feet of sliding.
