- <p>The near-surface faceting/ PWL that developed prior to this last storm seems to be rounding, but is still faceted, soft, and sugary for now. No natural avalanche activity noted, but I did get a fairly decent dry loose to run (D1.5 on NE aspect @ 8100') on a steeper slope (pictured) along with some other smaller sluffs mostly on North and East facing terrain within the new snow from the previous couple days. </p>
Snowpack
The new snow over the previous day or so provided very nice skiing conditions.
