- <p>Significant drifting of soft fresh snow. My sled tracks would completely fill in due to drifting in less then 10 minutes.... Some new drifts as deep as three feet deep...! Cracking and collapsing noted in untouched meadows...</p>
Anytime I got off the sled I would sink all the way to the ground in weak sugary snow; sometimes sinking in to my waist, other times to my knees.

- <p>Noted significant drifting in exposed mid elevation terrain. In some areas I could cause cracking in the soft drifted snow with my sled. </p> <p>Widespread very weak sugary or faceted snow in a couple different buried persistent weak layers. Avalanches could fail in faceted snow near the ground.</p>
