Lots of new surface hoar forming which is to be expected with this weather.
There is decent skiing on settled loud powder but the coverage is still lacking below 7000K.

- <p>there is about 8 inches of settled snow at 7500 on top of the old snow. The old snow is all faceted, weak, fist density weak snow. I could not find any slab to break into this weak layer. ECT test would collapse with five wacks but not propagate. It seem that this has the potential to be a problem if you can find a wind or other slab on top. I was not up on the higher ridges where there had been wind. </p>
