With 10-15 cm new snow and high winds in upper elevations today, a storm/wind slab was forming quickly. The new slab is sitting on top of a variety of surfaces but many of those surfaces are slick and produce quick moving avalanches in steeper terrain.

Intentionally set off with a ski cut. It was the new storm/wind slab running on old wind pressed surface (crust like), slide moved quickly.
