Quick report

Coverage is thin at middle/lower elevations (1-3'), upper elevations provided delicate off trail riding. in 3-4' of total snow. We dug a pit at 5900', N aspect, 12-18" new dry snow sitting on top of rain crust, with (2) different buried surface hoar layers found below that rain crust. ECTN 21 (no propagation in multiple tests!). Looks like rain permeated through whole snowpack at this location to ground; buried surface layers still intact. Snowpack stable, riding was spicy due to thin coverage.
