Quick report

Snow was wet and heavy until about 2000’. Above 2000 to about 3000’ snow was about 30cm of lower density. Wind scouring and gully cross loading above 3000’ was noticed but did not travel above 3000’. No instability noticed. No recents noticed.

Snowpack

Snowpack depth was 150cm in relatively protected area just below treeline. Top 30cm was soft and fresh new snow. From 30cm to 120cm was 2-4 fingers hardness with no noticeable layers. From 120cm to ground was facets. Conducted both ECT and CT. Column test showed CT 22 on the facet layer at 120cm depth. Extended Column produced ECTP22 also at facet layer at 120cm depth.
