Quick report
My partner and I toured Tumalo from the Dutchman parking lot, and we did a number of laps in the bowl. There were already two larger avy debris in the bowl (~D2ish?) that had broken on prior days. Initial exploration showed slight slabbing at the top, but no shooting cracks or whumpfing. Skied on both sides of the bowl and experienced no instabilities. As mentioned in the avy summary, observed a thrid individual drop the line between the rocks in the middle of the bowl and triggered a likely ~D1 wind slab avy. By around noon, wind picked up (from the W) and initiated snow transport with the start of some flurries. Tree side was nice and fluffy on the way down with some sharks still to avoid.
Avalanche
Witnessed an individual ski in-between the rocks at the center dropping point of Tumalo Bowl. The indivdual triggered a ~D1 avalanche that ran over the concavity. Only the top layer of the snow pack (likely a 4-5inch wind slab) broke free. The individual managed to ski out of the avy path and stated that they were ok.
