Quick report
Went out to BT today, not expecting too much due to the odd recent snowpack history (huge storm cycle, then rain, then huge warmup). Interestingly there was a decent refreeze so transitional corn seemed to be on the menu, I guess you don't know if you don't go. Timing was more touchy with the transitional snowpack and high temps, but there were good turns to be had. Lots of rain runnels made for bumpy travel both up and down, though steeper terrain had less of this. Pucker was actually great transitional corn/hot pow. Super sticky on the way out though. No signs of any naturals, some cornice fall here and there. Definitely a lot of cornices up there. If the snowpack can survive another day of hot temps and maybe some rain, we'll have a good base going into the next storm cycle coming up... gotta love spring in central OR!
