Soft wind slabs 6-12" deep were very easy to trigger on wind effected terrain and failed on the interface of the new snow on top of the underlying crust. Small avalanches triggered adjacent slopes sympathetically at times. The new snow did not bond well to the underlying crust and wind slabs on exposed terrain features were touchy.

SS-ASc-R2-D1-I SS-ASy-R1-D1-I Touchy wind slabs ranging from 6-12" inches deep were easily triggered on ridgelines. I observed sympathetic triggering of an adjacent slope 50 meters away here.
