Mavericks

Dug a pit at 9220' on an E aspect. We decided to perform a PST on the Jan 4 layer and got a PST 42/100 end 85 cm down. The snow was heating up or wet at most elevation bands on all aspects. We noted many Wet Loose avalanches on the S and SE faces especially at upper elevations. We saw a few crowns but they seemed at least a few days old.
