Crossing a wsw facing gully high on Abajo Peak, a windslab in the gully collapsed and a crack ran about 60 feet across the slope above me. The snowpack shifted maybe 6 inches downhill before stopping. Several other lower angle north facing slopes collapsed and had minor cracking lower down. I changed routes at this point and followed the ridge through the trees to Abajo Peak.
