This soft slab was triggered by a natural cornice drop in the afternoon, 60ft wide, 2 foot crown in the deepest part vertical unknown due to visibility. The weak layer was the density inversion that was buried in this wind loaded terrain a couple feet down, the wind loading in both Monitors was pretty impressive, loading both slopes quite a ways down off the ridge line. I would expect these instabilities to settle out rapidly when the high PI rates finally subside.
