My good friend Ross McIntyre texted these photos to me he took while snowmobiling in the Clayton Peak area. They are photos of a cornice fall that gouged down the slope. The cornice, no doubt, was triggered naturally by the very warm temperatures on Saturday. The good news is that the snow is stable enough that even the large cornice did not trigger a slab. The cornice was the size of a small bus and came down an east-southest facing slope.
