Quick report

New snow was less than 2 inches. Skiing was very supportive dust on crust with the exception of the lower 1/4 of the slope where snow was very sticky. I applied rub on wax to skate back to the trail head. Weather: light winds on the ridge that was brisk compared to the uphill skin track. Very were few clouds in the surrounding area.

I triggered a slough in the new snow on a convexity entering first bowl on Coneys. Observed two loose wet slides in Wolverine Basin on Mt Emmons before 11 AM.
