This avalanche was texted to a forecaster early Friday morning. A forecaster had eyes on this feature until 2:45 PM on Thursday, and it was not present, so it likely failed late on Thursday as end-of-day warming caused a cornice to fall and triggered a slab avalanche. It is coded as a Wet Slab, but that is speculation. Cornice fall is the likely trigger. After site visit on 4/20, updated size to D2.5, verified wet slab. -ZG
