Quick report
Excellent conditions up high: corn on the south half of the compass and still some dry powder on high due north. NE aspects were transitioning to moist or wet snow today. We found good stability this morning until shallow wet loose avalanches began running naturally around 10 am on E to NE aspects, involving the recent snow (D1 in size). Old drifts were up to a foot thick just below the ridgeline and unreactive to ski cuts.
