Quick report

Cracking
isolated

Cracking & small wind slab avalanche on test slopes near summit. Occurred on a wind roll along the ridge. Small and shallow ( 4-6 inches) on steep (35-40 degrees) slope of the roll. Path was maybe 10-20 feet tall and 30 feet wide. The ridge was classically wind affected with scouring, wind rolls, & sculpting present. Our travel was mostly along the shallow windward side to avoid any chance of unexpectedly triggering a larger wind slab. With the clear weather we could see wind transport occurring along the ridges of the nearby peaks.
