Snowpack
Covered a lot of ground today - we saw a few roller balls and pin wheels on sunny slopes, but no other signs of instability and no avalanches.
4-6" of snow fell in the last week (most of it fell last Wednesday). The new snow is heavily wind textured in many areas and some snow has clearly moved around, but we did not find significant wind drifts. There are slight crusts in the new snow on some sunny slopes, but it did not get warm enough to affect the facets that are still widespread (on basically every slope) in upper snowpack.
Still plenty of soft snow down in the trees.
