Toured up gentle terrain, noticed surface hoar on top with about 8in of faceting snow grains. Dug pits. In extended column tests, we found no results. Glide crack was noticed on a south facing slope at around 6000' approximately one mile north of observer location. Snow depth was between 125-135cm. Light winds, sunny, no rapid warming of snowpack.
