Cracking
isolated

Some isolated cracks in wind affected snow, only reaching 5' in length. Dug a pit on N facing terrain at the top of skook ECT-N 5 on a storm density change and ECT-P 12 at 50 cm on the last storm interface failing on 0.3 mm near surface facets and preserved needles. HS was 190cm. South facing was very shallow, less than 50cm HS as the ridge top with a stout crust capping 2-3 mm depth hoar with some cupping and striations. Active loading was observed on N and E aspects.
