Warm day, blustery winds at top of Switchback and 6437 but no signs of blowing snow, most transport at ridgelines or peaks and in very minimal amounts. Sun crust on affected aspects was 2-3in thick. Sun affect on the snow was minimal from slight overcast conditions, tour up switchback was great until it wasn't. Can definitely see freeze/thaw cycle above treeline.
