Generally stable but wind loaded features were touchy Wind loaded in this area plus a rollover, triggered on bouncing turn after a ski cut. Ranged between 4 inches and 12 inches deep at the crown, propagated over 150 feet.
Snowpack
4 to 10 inches of new snow over a firm base with isolated crusts. Quite a bit of wind loading in spots, those spots showed activity less loaded areas did not.
Avalanche
When loaded pocket did not respond to a ski cut, first Strong bouncing turned released the slab, soft slab approximately 150 feet wide 4 to 12 inch crown.
