We observed cracking and collapsing on E and NE aspects at the top of Avy Bowl and on the way there. ECTN5 on the layer of concern 20cm down from the surface. Decided to descend our ascent route rather than ski Avy Bowl Cracking and collapsing was evident on four different E or NE facing slopes where the snow had been undisturbed by previous tracks.
