Overall, we observed a stubborn to unreactive persistent slab on the Dec 10 crust. While there are facets at the base of the snowpack, our PSTs did not indicate propagation potential. The snowpack is unusually deep for this time of the year on Togwotee, and the Dec 26th/Boxing Day crust did not exist on Northerly aspects between 9,900-10,300'. Ski quality was excellent with very isolated wind slab formation. Very minimal cracking within new storm snow, less than 30cm from ski tips.

Snowpack
First snowpit at 9,900 on NW, HS 170, ECTX, and ECTN24 40cm down on buried SH (see photo). Second snowpit at 10,350', N, 17*, PST 170/170 X below Dec 10 crust. PST 145/170 end above Dec 10 crust (Dec 10 crust down 120 cm).
