Both CT and ECT failed on the graupel, but no propagation in the layer of new snow. The crust was deteriorating and I could not pull off snow above it in one slab. The old snow below the crust is solid and cohesive.

- <p>Saw a lot of rollerball activity on sunny aspects and a few small point release wet slides</p> <p>Small amount (~5cm in our pit) of new snow on fell on the graupel layer, which was the only reactive layer we observed in our pit.</p>
