- Pit at 8200 feet, NE facing aspect, 20ish degree slope - HS = 85cm - 26cm of facets starting at the ground, then very right-side-up snowpack to the surface. - ECTP at 6th tap of wrist, sudden failure at the facet layer - Whumphing along skin track on many occasions, with no specific aspect being better or worse - Zero cracks, zero shooting cracks, zero observed avalanche activity - Zero observed concern while skiing - HS increased to about 135cm at 9200 feet, did not dig a second pit
