Sherwin Ridge - Wind slabs and soft snow

I went for a walk up to the Pirch in the Sherwins today to get an idea of recent snow totals and to see how sensitive recent wind deposits were.

• Recent snow totals averaged about 10" in sheltered areas. Far less remains on the moraine or near the parking at the propane tanks. This new snow saw a decent amount of settlement throughout my tour today. Very light and unconsolidated along my ascent this morning, becoming more "hero pow" by this afternoon.
• I triggered one small Dry, loose sluff on a steep rollover below the treeline and observed several others. A couple of small natural sluffs ran on a steep slope near treeline, and what appeared to be a skier-triggered D1.5 that ran most of the way in the Bardini chute this morning. 
• Moderate upslope winds dropped out pretty quickly this morning, and mostly light winds prevailed throughout most of my tour. No blowing snow was observed past 10 am.
• I did, however, observe evidence of yesterday's wind transport.
• Recent wind slabs were reactive to my weight in leeward catchment zones above 9,000' 
  • Slabs were observed to be reactive, moving towards stuborn
  • Slabs were 1F in hardness and ranged from 10-35 cm.

Recent wind deposits were reactive to my weight on small test slopes near treeline. Slabs were 1f hard and up to 35 cm thick. I triggered one small loose dry sluff on a steep rollover below treeline at approximately 10 am, and I observed a few other natural sluffs off of steep near treeline terrain that likely failed sometime in the last 24 hours. I also observed what looked like a small wind slab near the hose that I suspect was intentionally triggered, but I can not say for sure.
