Quick report

We got on skis at the parking lot, and travelled to 12.5k ft on the E face of University Peak. By 1100 we were skiing an E facing slope from a saddle at 12.4k ft. Air temp was 51F. Boot pen was anywhere from near zero in isolated spots, mostly ankle deep or so, and in certain spots waist deep near rocks. Great corn skiing. We began our second descent from 12.8k ft on the tallest line (didn’t really go through to the top with lots of rocks above this point) at 1230. Surface snow was wet, but the skiing was again very fun.
