Snowpack

Today I snowmachined around the BWRA looking for new signs of recent avalanches. More specifically Persistent Slabs on north aspects and Loose Wet on southern aspects.    A few newish crowns on North aspects NTL and ATL were observed but cant say how new..  A few roller balls and point releases on south aspects but also couldn't tell if they were from today or the past several days.   All the snow in the upper elvations had been touched and wind effected pretty aggressively.  Sastrugi galore.  South facing aspects ATL had wind effected snow, but below 9k' the snow on south aspects is melting quickly. Not enough snow for roller balls or point release wet loose.  Attached are a few photos from the wind packed sastrugi snow and a few recent crowns from the PWL avalanches.
