Toured up the N/NW ridge of pt 4735 that defines the E to N side of the Delia creek drainage (and which leads into pt 5100). Skied down the southerly facing broad gully from 4735 and found variable conditions from firm wind board to surprisingly unsupportive facets, as well as thin coverage in spots. Skied with a medium aggressive bounce to get up off the variable snow for turn transition. As I toured back up I triggered a couple of propagating whumphs in 20 degree S facing terrain, ~4550’. When I triggered these whumphs I was almost touching my down tracks. I was racing the sunset so I didn’t dig to investigate the structure. I skied a W bowl into a NW couliour (maybe 35-40 degrees but I didn’t use my inclinometer) above Two Lakes Valley back toward the gold mint parking lot. Again variable surface from firm wind board to a few turns of more consistent soft snow in the bottom half of the couliour. Jump turns on the firm and bouncing turns lower down. No signs of instability here. As I was skinning across the flats in two lakes valley on my way out I triggered a couple more whumphs.
